"Fun, Unique, and Spunky..."

Forged in the Halifax Open Mic and Karaoke scene, a group of misfit musicians were thrust together by circumstance and jammed live on stage.

Realizing they had something special, they decided to form a killer sounding pop band straight out of the early 2000s with infectious melodies, beautiful harmonies, funky basslines and never-ending good times.

They have been described as MICHAEL JACKSON-Meets-ED SHEERAN with a splash of INGRID MICHAELSON and have played all over Atlantic Canada with artists like Elyse Aeryn, JRDN, Allen Snow & The Quorum and even opening for Sean Kingston when he was in Nova Scotia for his “Made in Jamaica” Canadian Tour. They’ve released two EPs, “GOOD VIBES ONLY” and “FUN TIME SNACK” and are currently are about to release their debut album, BEEN A MESS/STILL A MESS produced with the help of Mike Farrington Jr. of The Mellotones, Ocean Floor Studios, and Joe Bozzi of BGM.

CCFH is the the lovely mixture of Deves’ soulful acoustic-pop sensibilities, Keats’ tight dulcet east coast harmonies, Geno’s classic rock guitar riffs, Colin’s funky bass lines and Evan’s energetic and precise percussion, Casual Cries For HELP is a powerful pop experience unlike any other.

"With the earnest, emotional drive for connection of the 90s and early 00s, Casual Cries For Help is the definition of playful. Sometimes gentle, sometimes swaggering, but always tender, their music bounces like a racing heart and delivers that exact feeling. If loving love is a crime, they’re forever guilty."
